Todd Clouser's A Love Electric

Sometimes we're amazed at the touring acts we're able to land.  A Love Electric is no exception.  Nicest dudes you'll ever meet, and one of the most unique and fun bands around.

3 Nation, 6 fisted power psych group A Love Electric is heading out for another of their gypsy colored tours behind the group’s most recent release, Son of A Hero (Ropeadope Records, ftr. John Medeski). The tour stretches from San Jose, Costa Rica to Seattle across the Pacific Northwest and eventually through Colorado to Oklahoma before the band returns to its mainstay markets in Latin America and on to Western Europe.

Having performed over 500 shows in 4 years in tours stretching from Patagonia, Argentina, to Prague, Czech Republic, A Love Electric has evolved into a creative rock supergroup in Latin America, and an emerging act in the USA, performing at festivals from Mexico City’s rock giant “Vive Latino” alongside Arcade Fire to New York City’s Winter Jazzfest.

The band is led by guitarist and vocalist Todd Clouser, a voice at the forefront of creative music scene off a recent performance at New York City’s Town Hall alongside John Lurie, John Zorn, Flea, and more.

The three musicians in A Love Electric currently live in Mexico City, a city of 26 million people, within a block of each other, often performing in their home country with guests from Cyro Baptista to Billy Martin, John Medeski, and a recent studio collaboration with Arto Lindsay.
