The Howlin' Brothers

We couldn't let The Howlin' Brothers cruise through Oklahoma without making a stop at FnL's, so we've added live music on a Thursday to kick off the month of May!

Thirty Tigers A&R chief Kim Buie: “The Howlin’ Brothers’ songs, while lyrically simple, pack the sonic wallop of blistering angst and attitude, contrasted by songs full of melodic heart tugs, and still more songs that are just plain ol’ killer,” she says.

This isn't Nashville Country, this is Nashville Americana.  There's some pretty cool music coming out of that town no matter what you hear on the radio, and this is some of it.

IYL:  Muddy Waters, Warren Haynes, Grenre-Bustin' Americana

The Howlin' Brothers are: Ian Craft (Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Vocals) Jared Green (Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals) Ben Plasse (Upright Bass, Banjo, Vocals) "Big Time" is from The Howlin' Brothers album, HOWL which was Produced by Brendan Benson. The song was co-written with the band and Warren Haynes (who also played on the track as well - on the record).
